Thursday 6th March - walks **** – Around Felixstowe – sunny with
light winds.
Walk 1 – Morrisons park and crocus’s.
The weather continues to be mild and sunny, the forecaster had tempted me
with some some windsurfing breeze from the south in the afternoon so I was
hoping to go to Levington for a foil but we were having Maeva for the day
so after dropping off loads of old singles to sell, we have had loads of
vinyl in our loft for 35 years and we are having a clear out we picked up
Maeva. We then parked up at Morrisons and had some fun on the little park,
Maeva loves the swings and is now a real whizz on the slide! We then
continued onto the three groups of lovely crocus flowers on the large green
which are absolutely stunning, they make for a great photo and Maeva loved
them! After a quick trip round Morrisons we headed home, I sorted my pics
out while Mag read Maeva her new crocodile book which she loved. I checked
the wind and it was very light so I knocked windsurfing on the head !
Walk 2 – Felixstowe prom.
So we had lunch and put Maeva in her push along trike and we headed down to
the seafront and the light onshore breeze was a tad on the chilly side so
after a quick spin around the pier we turned towards The Fludyers, with the
wind on our backs it felt much warmer. We had some fun on the beach playing
with pebbles before continuing up past the town and home as Maeva decided
to drop off to sleep! We then took her home before returning home for a
cuppa, top day:)
